The RP Check is a handheld respiratory pressure meter measuring mouth and nasal pressures (MIP, MEP and SNIP).
MD Diagnostics Ltd is pleased to confirm that the RP Check – Model RP01 has received MHRA authorisation for special use in Great Britain under the Medical Devices Regulations 2002 (as amended).
The authorisation, granted on 27 March 2026, recognises the important clinical role of the device in assessing respiratory muscle function, including in patients with conditions such as motor neurone disease (MND).
This decision reflects the importance of ensuring continued access to essential diagnostic tools where there is a clear patient need.
